What is a PNG CRC error?
PNG chunks include checksums that help detect accidental changes. A failed checksum can indicate damaged chunk contents or, in limited cases, a damaged checksum value.
Will transparent pixels be preserved?
When the original rows and color layout survive, Openable preserves their supported channel data, including alpha transparency.
What happens to the original PNG?
